A direct QR stores the destination in its pattern. An editable EverQR destination can be changed later without replacing the printed code or NFC tag.

What happens after the scan?

A static code contains the destination. An editable code uses an EverQR link first.

What happens if you stop paying?

Your printed code keeps working.

Static codes

Nothing changes. The destination is stored in the QR pattern and scans do not depend on EverQR.

Editable codes

The code stays on its last saved website. Editing and analytics pause until Pro is restarted.

Your data

You can export code names, destinations and scan data. Leaving does not require reprinting.

Before you print

Open a question for a clear answer.

01

Will a free code stop working?

No. A static code keeps working while the information inside it remains valid and the destination is available.

02

Which file should I use?

Use PNG for documents and screens. Use SVG for most printing. Use EPS when a print shop requests it. PDF provides a ready-made A4 page.

03

How large should it be?

Set the expected scan distance in the generator. EverQR calculates a minimum width from that distance and the amount of data in the code.
