Skanna currently uses only the storage needed to provide the service. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
1. What we use
Skanna uses first-party, secure authentication cookies to keep signed-in users connected to their account and to protect authenticated requests. These cookies are set only after account activity and are not used for advertising.

2. No optional tracking today
We do not currently load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, advertising networks, session replay, fingerprinting or comparable marketing tools. We do not set an analytics cookie.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
Strictly necessary storage can be used to provide a service requested by the user. Because Skanna currently has no optional cookie category, a banner offering an artificial choice would not improve privacy. If optional analytics or marketing technology is introduced, it will remain disabled until valid consent has been obtained.
4. Stripe checkout
When you choose a paid plan, you leave Skanna for a Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe may use cookies needed for payment security, fraud prevention and checkout under its own policy.
5. Your browser controls
You can inspect or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking Skanna’s necessary authentication cookie will prevent account sign-in but does not stop the free static QR generator from working.
